handy little adapter 5.5>39mm

just arrived from heavystar, an adapter that screws into the series 5.5 threads on my leica 90 and then accepts a 39mm filter...and then the 39mm lens shade screws into the filter!

makes the elmar c a bit easier to use...

Yup I bought this together with the hood, unfortunately the official Leitz 5.5 filters are too deep to allow it to be used as a retaining ring.

but now you don't need the official filters...any 39mm filter will fit.

Sadly I have the full set!! But the rubber hood on the 40mm lens fell to bits!

bummer...i just use a uv and had extra 39mm ones handy.
the shade looks great on the 90, should work ok.
