A little Aki Asahi, maybe a visit to the DAG spa. Slap an old J8 on it until you can buy a Summar and you're good to go.

Yep, and it's already above what I'd be willing to spend for it (sans at least a 50/3.5 uncoated) given the amount of either work or $$$ needed to put it back online.

yeah, i don't know which to be more appalled by...the abuse that poor camera has been through, or the fact that some idiot spent $132 on it:p i just bought a straight III in beautiful shape for 133, so i don't know why that one went so damn high. but whatever, to each his own.
 
And actually, the lack of a cover has made it look in worse shape than it is. It's missing a few pieces here and there, :rolleyes: but.... I'm sure it will be enjoyed.
