Well-known
I know I'm dreaming but ...
I would like to see Kodak run a batch of 620 film and package it
with a re-introduction ("Anniversary Edition?") of one of their plastic
620 Brownie cameras or maybe a folder. Then have Freestyle pitch
it to the toy camera bugs as a Holga alternative. They could even
keep the Kodak name off it if they want to play it safe brand-wise.
Since it's really just 120 film, all they'd need are the spools and
packaging and the camera itself could be outsourced to another firm.
One ISO 100 Color and one B&W film packaged with the camera (or
whatever).
With some 620 Kodak films available again it would open up the
use of zillions of vintage Kodak cameras now gathering dust and
create another film market for Kodak. They might even produce
a nice quality 620/120 camera if the demand was there.
