hanging a print just outside the kitchen - advisable y/n?

Recently I bought a lovely print and I am now - once again - wondering where to hang it. It is a limited edition C-print in a custom made frame covered with UV filtering glass.
So far I have just found two spots where I have enough wall space left to hang it and where it would would fit nicely. As those two spots are just outside the kitchen, I am wondering if cooking with all the fumes and humidity might in the long run cause damage to the print.
Am I worrying too much?

Do you run a short order diner out your kitchen?

You should be just fine with a monthly dusting!

... a framer mate of mine backs his with a fancy paper membrane that is supposed to control the interior environment, he reckons I could hang them in the bathroom

You might ask the people who mounted and framed it, how well it's protected against moisture (and humidity cycles) over the long term.

I've had prints in the kitchen and environs for many years with no apparent ill effects. But they are my prints, so if they become damaged, I can reprint them. That said, every kitchen environment is different - as a friend of mine says - "I know when dinner is ready when the smoke alarm goes off."
