Start by saying this is a shameless variation on a popular thread here . This little rangefinder has allowed shots that I just couldn't get with my Kowa six :) . All were on Portra 160 .

That second shot looks like organized chaos. Apparently the traffic lanes are DIY, or just the city's existentially, doomed suggestions. These folk make the Italians look like indecisive, timid drivers.
 
And the best part of this choreographed traffic chaos is that it was on a small back street only about 2 blocks long ! It was a treat to see this after having been in the Philippines earlier , where absolutely nothing moves :) , Peter

this comment made me laugh.
being a native people here in hanoi, and has drived in AUS (opposite to what we do in Vietnam), I would say that if you can drive in Vietnam, you can drive elsewhere. :bang:

are these from your last visit to vietnam?

^Thanks Trung , your right about being able to drive anywhere if you've driven in Hanoi !
We only returned a month ago and am scanning the Kowa photos now , and I would like to mention that when we arrived in Hanoi , what a shock the humid heat was this time . Weather channel said it felt like 49 degrees with the humidex . The staff at the hotel were saying not to go out until after 3:00pm (because that's what they were doing) . My wife and I never drank so many beers and never had to go to the washroom , we just sweat it out :) Peter

yes, this summer in Hanoi has been being very tough. Hot and humid.
Looking to Europe suffering same problem. I guess it's a global issue.

Because anyone who's been to Hanoi knows , sidewalks are for parking motorcycles and
pedestrians walk with the traffic :) Peter

If traffic is the same as when I was there in the late 60's and early 70's, traffic always amazed me, especially the circles. But it works for the people there, so who was I to not try to drive as they did?
