It's great that gradually more people are posting in this thread too. It would be a tough job for only me to keep it running 4 years so far.

For some reasons the photo in my last post doesn’t show. So here it is Ke and Tim Zhou In bbq restaurant
@Tim: the Hagiang thread is linked in my signature. Feel free to post your photos there.

Trung, the meal was so good and I ate so much, I managed to skip one horrible in-flight meal on the way to the UK :D

To kiemchacsu, thanks a ton for starting this thread and thanks to others who have added their own images to this thread.

I have wanted to travel to and photograph Hanoi ever since I acquired a copy of Andre Lutzen's book, Public Private Hanoi. Being intrigued by Asian culture, religious practices, martial arts and society, Hanoi is a natural location for my photographic bucket list.

Below are photos taken in special session of Bao Lac market (Cao Bang province), which organized one in 5 days. This is a special event for ethnic people in the region gathering to exchange goods, also experiencing the bold cultural atmosphere.

Stuffed sticky rice balls
Stuffed sticky rice balls are the traditional dishes of the Cold Food Festival in Vietnam on the 3rd of third lunar month each year. The balls are made from mung bean paste wrapped in a shell made of glutinous rice flour. The balls are served in a hot brown sugar liquid and garnished with sesame seeds.

Hadn't been in here in a while. I really liked your photos. Especially the 2nd and last. Sleeping cats and camera stores behind the lady with the dogs.

Also enjoyed the fish sauce factory photo. You are a brave man sir! :D
