58. Again, another photo not taken in Hanoi
This was taken in an old apartment in Vinh, built circa 70-80 era of 20 Century.
During the Vietnam civil war, Vinh was heavily destroyed by American air-force. After 1974, the city has been rebuilt following in Soviet Union and DDR models.

64. Another one from recent HCMC trip. In Vietnam, people still prefer traditional market than super market. Government has tried to transform traditional markets into a shopping malls and many of them are failed projects. Not to against the convenience of supermarket but I think one of the interesting things of going out to by stuffs on streets is the communications between human beings.

yes a few more seconds to compose better is what i should have done. will do in my next year trip back home. will try to go home more often these coming years. there is so much more sunlight in hanoi compared to uk haha looking forward to see more from you.

Well, recently I've been busy with other things to update this thread. Anyhow, I just developed couple a rolls last night and want to share some new photos with you guys.
As you can see in below photos, Learning English has become a strong desire for young generation. Upper class people tends to send their children abroad to study and most popular destination are Singapore, Australia, England and of course US.

In Vietnam, it is quite a normal practice that grandparents would hep their son/daughter to look after their grandson/daughter if they can mange time. I guess there should be something totally different in the Western culture regarding this thing.
