thanks Vincent,
another one, in Hang Thiec street. Vietnamese meaning is "zinc shop street"
in hanoi, there are still some streets in the old quarter which names are dedicated to specific type of goods that are being made and sold on.
the photo below is an example, in Hang Thiec street, where people is still making steel products and sell them directly.

Great thread. I will be in Hanoi for about a week beginning 14 January 2016 and would like to get together with anyone from RFF. I am thinking M9 for color and M2 for b&w with 21/35/50/90 lenses. Would you throw in a couple rolls of Ektar 100?
After Hanoi, I am probably headed toward Cambodia, Thailand and Malaysia and would also enjoy making contact in those countries as well.

Having Ektar on a trip is never a bad idea.

I never cease to enjoy this thread when I see pop up. I didn't know there was a train station in Long Bien. I guess that might be because I never saw a train run anywhere that I can recall.
Great shots everyone. Thanks!

Thanks, Trung, for posting the beautiful collection of Viet Nam photos. So many that are visually stunning that there are too many to single out. You give a good visual feel for the country that I have never been to. I also am learning something at the same time.
Thanks also for posting the "EXIF" information regarding lens and film information. I also enjoyed viewing other posters such as Vincent.
I hope to keep an eye on this thread.
