Hi people,
This one was taken on August 2014 but the roll stuck in my M3 since then. I just developed it after a series of family photos

Great thread. I will be in Hanoi for about a week beginning 14 January 2016 and would like to get together with anyone from RFF. I am thinking M9 for color and M2 for b&w with 21/35/50/90 lenses. Would you throw in a couple rolls of Ektar 100?
After Hanoi, I am probably headed toward Cambodia, Thailand and Malaysia and would also enjoy making contact in those countries as well.
So glad to have discovered this thread!
For some Thailand shots, feel free to check out my website (in my sig). There's a post going up on my blog this week with some general Thai shooting hints and tips. Keep an eye out for it. Feel free to email me if you need any more info or help after that. Sounds like you are already on the move by now anyway!

Thanks Frankd, I hope that you will find a chance to visit the country in the future. You wont be disappointed.
I would also like to thank you for starting this thread and contributing so much to it. I'm in Thailand so not too far away and film shots from SE Asia always have a special place in my heart.

Hello guys. I am on a real mission.
I have been travelling Vietnam for 3 weeks now, and have run out of film!
I am currently in Hanoi, and I am desperately on the hunt for a store that sells it!
PLEASE HELP!
35mm of any kind.

Thank you, I will pay you all back with (hopefully) some lovely images of Vietnam shot through my M2 and 60's 50mm lux and VC 15. If I were allowed to post digital through 15mm on Fuji X-e1 producing 21mm FOV, I would.
But this IS a film camera section of these forums. Sometimes I wish the two weren't so divided. It's all photography, they're all just pictures.

That's a great shot. The woman in the background moving in the opposite direction gives a nice counterpoint. The woman in the foreground appears to be carrying food? When I was in Quang Tri there was a woman who came to our gate each morning selling Pho. She brought in on the pole, with the soup hot and only a few dishes.
Many's the time I waited in line for someone else to finish their Pho so the woman could dip the bowl in some hot water, wipe it with a rag, then fill it with Pho for me. And did she make good Pho!
Seeing the two women and the noodle shop in the background brings back pleasant memories.
Thanks for posting. Nice photo and good memories go together.

What are some must-see's in Ha Noi?
Have visited the prison, am certainly going to visit Dear Uncle, and otherwise have been drinking lots of cheap beer and eating great. The lake is beautiful, but what are some SECRETS?
Edit. I must say the light here is unlike anything I've ever seen in my home country of New Zealand. A constant fog of some kind softens even the harshest sunlight and the sunset light is simply stunning.
Also, where is a trustworthy place here in Ha Noi to develop a whole bunch of C41 I've been shooting? I've heard a dev and scan is around $2.50NZD compared to around $16-$24NZD back home. Tempting...

Check out Van Mieu the first university of the country and the fine art museum of hanoi right next to it. Also take a ride to West Lake and just walk around the bank of Thanh Nien street. Dong Xuan market is also central and super busy and a great place for street shooting.

First one uses scanner Fuji sp2000, the second one uses Fuji sp3000. Both are close to the lake. You can choose either one

I have used both. Personally I prefer the output from fuji sp2000. Your taste might be different!

Does the 'vintage camera store' do developing? It seems to be held in high regard.
