I shot this on the 12mm with an R72 infra-red filter held over it - forgetting that the built in lens hood lets in light all round the edges!
It's the Skytower in Auckland, New Zealand.
1/30th f5.6 ISO 1600
the b/w conversion has a 100% detail, pretty good for the 12mm wide open. You can see the individual antennae on the top of the tower!

What a happy accident! This is a great image. It almost looks like a computer-generated Sci-Fi scene with the imposing tower, darkened periphery and over-the-top lens flare!
Most unusually for me, I prefer the colour version.
