Happy accident

Thought I was underexposing this Arista Premium 400 by 1 stop but it was 2 stops at 1600. Developed in Xtol 1+1 @ 20C for 13:15, normal agitation. Turned out okay, I think. Just some crap shots of this and that.

I think those are excellent, especially with my love of shadow detail. I'm very much surprised as I have found TriX above 800 is not what I like. I have never tried Xtol but you really have got what I would consider good. I really can't see how any developer could rescue shadow detail, but I like these.
