I cant believe it's been 5 years since I first started RFF. Day one was 2 or 3 members including Joe and a Solaris 8 server at home connected to the internet via DSL. I remember staying up late every night just watching the number of users on line and wondering if they liked the site. I saw a pattern where users where on line at a certain time of the day and the site was quiet during the evening for me. Well, things are a lot different today with well over 25,000 members and users on line 24 x 7 from all over the world! I guess you liked it 🙂
I started RFF because of my passion for those little cameras which I consider to be industrial jewelry and my desire to exchange ideas and comments with others that felt the same. Now RFF is the leading internet site for rangefinder cameras and it could not have been possible without the members. Thank you all very much for contributing to this great site and making it what it is today. And many thanks to Mr. Gandy for continuing to keep the lights on at RFF. So, a big happy birthday to RFF and all of us here.
