Has anyone bought gear from......

I have twice, and found them dependable. The one mechanical problem that I experienced in a camera purchased from them (squeaky Nikon S2 lensmount), resolved itself after they offered to fix it. I would say, though, I don't think their prices are the lowest around. One nice feature of their website is actual photos of the gear being sold, as opposed to KEH,which shows you the _type_ of gear, but not the actual piece you will be purchasing. I have done more business with KEH over the years than with Collectible Cameras, but if the question is: whether they are reliable and stand behind their merchandise, my experience has been positive.

I just recieved 2 items from them last week. They are very helpful and like Benjamin said the photos are the actual item. I havent had to return anything but from my dealings with them I am sure if there was a problem they would be ready to fix it no matter what to keep good customer relations.

BTW: Dont be surpised if it takes them a day or two to get back to your emails, they will respond.
 
I've been happy with them as well. And the last time I bought from them, I thought I knew what I needed(filters and adapters) but they suggested an alternative which was less money and easier to use. I'll happily deal with 'em again.

I've also bought a couple of small items (filters, hoods) from them and have been very happy with their service.

They are local to me here in Phoenix, so I have been in their shop many times.

Sandy is a good guy and they truly do try to describe everything acurately.

I've bought from them many times. I would say they were perfect except for one thing that happened on one of my purchases from them. I ordered a Leica lens and payed for it. A few days later they emailed me and said they mis-graded it, the said it was not as good as they first thought. No problem right? Not really, they didn't lower the price at all. I canceled the order and found the lens elsewhere.
 
Aren't these the same guys as Ritz Camera in Phoenix? Site sure looks the same.

...well, just got off the phone with Collectible Camera's. The Leica M7 I was after was sold 3 days ago.....mint-minus in the box $1995.....hey, it wasn't one of you fellows was it??? Anyway I'll just have to settle for a demo M7 w/warranty for a BIT more. :D


Nice guys to talk too, I'll be shopping there again.
