I love my CV 25/4 Snapshot Skopar.
I can't say the same for the big old finder (mine is the early,
non-bright line version), it' s so damn bulky on small bodies.
Has anyone had a chance to compare the new tiny version?
And, equally important - can you see the frame lines with glasses on?

M2 fan.
I have the same problem Rick, but will have to stick with the bulky finder due to the newer smaller finders being very expensive

I waiting for my metal finder. Ordered at cameraquest, but it is still lying around in some German customs office.
But I can´t compare (after arrival) with the old brightlineless finder, only with the intermediate version (plastic with brightline).
I hope that it will not take weeks ...:bang:

I have the old plastic 25mm Voigtlander finder that came with my 25mm Snapshot Skopar and recently bought the new 21/25mm chrome metal finder to go with my Zeiss 21mm C-Biogon.
The new finder is gorgeous - satisfyingly solid, beautifully machined and looks very stylish. The view is good, with both framelines readily visible. There is some barrelling through the lens, perhaps more than the plastic finder.

Thank you Austerby, that's what I wanted to hear.
Guess I'd better start saving for another "trip" to the head barkeep's.

The finder arrived today and I agree with Austerby.
I don´t wear glasses, but if I try the one of my wife I see the 25mm lines complete and without problems. The 21mm lines are just barely visible, especially in the corners.
The framelines are also brighter than in the 25 mm plastic brightline version.
Really, a nice little thingy...

Danke, Herr haempe!
You helped me make up my mind.
(Stephen should thank you, too
