Has anyone (leica or otherwise) ever made a replacement shutter speed dial that is taller than the top of the body? I was pondering this the other night while I couldn't sleep, and I think it would make adjusting shutter speed on the fly much quicker, especially in situations where it is critical that you maintain a certain aperture.

If no one ever has, do you think you would find one useful?

I'd like to have one for my BessaR. The metered PentaPrism on my Pentax 6x7 has the best I've ever seen. It has a big wide knob and it is out in to open, not tucked behind the film advance or the shutter release.
