I ordered a Vulcanette C for my Olympus Pen FV on February 18th and exchanged emails with Morgan right away.
I received the order on April 8th. Morgan included a hand written note apologizing for the long wait.
Perhaps he is just experiencing a high number of orders lately. I am sure you don't have anything to worry about.

Huh, I've been waiting for a month and have heard nothing, even after an email ping last week.

Thats what happened to me. But when I got the leather there was a note apologizing for the delay. I am amazed at the quality of the leather.

If you put yourself out there as a vendor, you owe it to your customer to provide your product or service in a timely manner or at least explain delays in shipping.
While most people are patient, there is a limit. I think at one point, it had been eight weeks, and when he finally replied, I had to remind him what I had ordered -- in two separate e-mails.
As I said before, I really like the materials that he offers, but I think his turnaround time is unacceptable and unreliable and his response to customer inquiries is the same. Especially given the fact that he requires payment upfront.

Morgan's been sending me a strip of grey griptac in three days. That ain't too bad, considering it's international mail. Here it is on my IIIf RD ST:

The vulcanite on my IIIc has started to break away in places, and I was looking for a good cheap way to fix/replace it. The Levant Black looks perfect.
How are you guys sticking this onto your camera's?

Drewus, these skins are adhesive-backed. Piece of cake.
As for cameraleather...coming up on three months and no griptac for my Zorki, and no emails returned. In contrast, I just ordered a new covering for my Pentax LX from Aki-Asahi, it came in a week from Japan, and it looks great...

The leather itself is great, I'm very happy with it. And yes my last order took some months to arrive.
I can live with occasional delays. I don't want $xx added to each item to cover the wages for someone in admin.

Anybody know where you can buy Griptac sheets? Last time I asked Morgan, he was reluctant to sell which I understand.

Last year I ordered a couple of sheets of seal grain, which never arrived. Meh. No big. The packaging Morgan uses to ship in sometimes gets lost in a big stack of mail. And it wasn't that much money. And I came up with a more attractive solution for the need.
More recently I have ordered kid leather for a Kiev and griptac for a Pen-FT: both arrived within days of ordering. IMO the quality of these offerings is second to none - worth waiting a little extra for.
