I see on Amazon where certain sellers are listing it with the kit zoom lens as in stock. I am traveling to England In the spring and considering purchasing this to carry with me. Would really like to hear some comments on the new features from shooters here on the forum.

I got mine too 2 days ago. I briefly had GF1 and decided to try E-P2. coming from GF1, E-P2 has better ergonomics. that little grip on E-P2 makes a big difference in handling of the camera. LCD on E-P2 sucks compared to GF1 but its good enough to make selections and look at pics while shooting. I prefer the files I get from EP2 over GF1. not sure how to explain it
EVF is MUCH better than on the EP2 compared to GF1. Night and day difference. Since I don't like framing via LCD this was a big plus for me. But its bigger than GF1's.
As far as focusing, in day light I get pretty much same speed that I was getting from GF1. maybe a bit slower. When its dark, there is no comparison. GF1 wins. I decided to keep my panasonic lenses and ended up selling the EP2 kit lens. 20mm and 14-45 work great on EP2 body. Overall its a very nice system and hopefully will see more development and lenses in the near future.

Thank you Alex. I am ordering an ep-2. I allready had high interst since my film pen gets more use than my other cameras beause it is so easy to carry and fun. The new ep-2 seemed to have that same appeal.
As far as focusing in the dark, I have never owned a camera with auto-focus. I guess any autofocussing is going to suprise me. If I do not like it, I suppose I will fall back on my old habits in low light situations.
This may seem like a really naive question, but I can twist the barrel to focus the lens correct? I don't have to mash a button repeatedly or something do I?
Thanks again

Yep. I tried it with Panasonic 20mm and 14-45, they work the same. basically you set AF mode to MF and that's it. Its a bit weird to get use to since lenses are electronic and the weird part comes from how you turn the ring. you can actually choose the direction left or right
because its electronic. but it works fine. another plus with both GF1 and E-P2 is that you can set MF assist mode and what that does it active 7x zoom as soon as you turn the focusing ring. I'm pretty new to M4/3, had been shooting with Dslrs and for past year only with R-D1 so this is fairly new system for me that I'm still learning.

Thank you for the replies. The focusing enlargement sounds useful.
I primarily take pictures with my olympus pen s 2.8. I sometimes take my leica m6 out and if I am shooting slide film I carry a Nikon fm3a. I have been holding money to buy a digital camera for the last 3 years. They improve so quickly I keep putting off buying one. The dgigtal pen really seems to fit what I want though, Small portable but much more than a point and shoot.
Today I went to the local camera store in hopes to look at and possibly purchase an ep-2 but they had none. The salesman told me they were wanting to carry the new Pen line but Olympus did not ship a big order they had placed for the cameras. He said the store owner got in an argument with the rep about it and now they are not going to order any for stock. He offered to order me one If I prepaid!
Well, I suppose I will order off the internet if I have to prepay. It will save me $110 tax and the camera store I went to does not support film photography anyway, so why should I support them?
I just wish I could put my hands on the camera first.
