Looks pretty well priced but any experience is much appreciated.

I have a set of two similar, maybe even from the same manufacturer. They look the same as those in that auction. I bought them from MicroTools Europe (Germany), and paid significantly more than the current auction price...
Tools are OK, although I suspect those from SK Grimes might be of better quality.
I've used them several times, and have no complaints. Maybe not for professional use (if you open lenses all day long, and do that for a living), but I'd say those should be OK for an occasional tinkerer.
HTH,

I have one like the pointy-end version. These are cheapos (tips tend to bind when sliding on shafts, for example) but should work OK for the occasional DIY adventure.
Warning: the tips probably won't be an exact fit for the slots in your lenses, so be prepared to adapt them by filing or grinding. You want the tip to fit exactly -- if it doesn't, it's likely to slip out and result in ugly scratches (especially bad if they're in the glass!)

They are fine. You can spend more, but they will work for you. I've made do with stuff like this for several years. You may have to use a file to modify them a bit, though.
