Has Leica quit making lenses?

... You might also consider the 50mm Millennium Nikkor-S as a quite good alternative to the 50mm Summilux-M ASPH. Including an Amedeo adapter (6 Bit coded) it cost a fraction of what the ASPH costs... 😉🙂

Leica has definitely not stopped making lenses. They just might be busy making lenses for a different application, and perhaps the production lines for M lenses has been slower than normal as a result.

Greg, have you called Palm Beach Photographic? I bought my M9 from them, when NO ONE had them. Being a Leica store, they seem to get things quicker ... or maybe I was just lucky.

Still waiting on a new 50 Lux!

I understand they are starting to ship some new lenses. I am next in line at my dealer for a 50 Lux
