Hello all

I have borrowed a Hassy for a while and wish to do some fashion shots and product photography together with my SB-22s I got a while back.

However, I have barely done any flash photography before and I dont know how to sync the Hassy with the flash. What cord do I need to get? Feels like a djungle with flash accessories and I dont want to order the wrong stuff.

Thanks

You need a Nikon SC-11 or SC-15 sync cord, or a 3rd party equivalent, to connect the flash's sync terminal to the PC connection on the Hassey's lens. You could also use a generic hot-shoe to PC adapter cord to connect to the flash's hot foot and provide a PC cord to connect to the lens.

You will be shooting in manual, as there is no TTL ability in the Hassey. You'll also need to make sure the Hassey's lens is set to X-sync and not M-sync.
