Has anyone used this attachment on a SWC/M camera. I have an old brochure that I got back in the 80’s with a brief description and an image of it in use.
I have some old oil paintings from Europe that I want to copy, tried before but even when out a couple of inches the print showed the error. So I am after one of these sets.
So anyone used this before.

You could likely use a small mirror you already have laying around.

Just set it on the work you want to copy and line your VF up with its own reflection.

A lot like collimating a telescope... something I have to do from time to time.

That would not work, the SWC/M is just a lens with a film back attached. The viewfinder is an external accessory. I need to be able to remove the back and view through the lens.

Yeah but I think you use a ground glass on the back of the SWC body, if I am remembering correctly.

Yes, ground glass and a chimney finder. Anyhow I have bought one and will soon be using it if the postman gets a move on.
