Hasselblad to cease production of V system cameras

I think GF670w was less than 2 years ago, in terms of actually being able to buy it, vs. announcements etc.

I'm just happy to see Fujifilm making such cameras, and at prices which are within reach of many. I really like DHW Fototechnik too, but the prices are way beyond "treat myself" range for me.

As long as they continue their production of luxury digital cameras like --Hasselblad Lunar-- I'm sure they'll be in business. 🙄

You fear complete dominance by the Japanese and then want Pentax to succeed? 🙂

Of course... Pentax make good gear. If as a company they work hard and produce good products then they should succeed.

I'd like there should be a lot of "players" in the game. Not just Nikon and Canon. Sony have had a decent go. Hopefully Olympus will come back and Pentax should be there as well.

BTW... Back to reality. I think the game is over as far as dominance is concerned. It's not "complete" yet but considering what's happened over the last 30 years. Isn't it only a matter of time?
