Echoing the earlier posts here, you got a modern 50mm lens, which is at least as fine a performer as a Summicron, for less money than a Summicron would fetch.

The only problem that I can see is that you don't have bragging rights about a great bargain you found. Take some photographs that you can brag about, this lens won't let you down.

I have received the lens, and it's marvelous! I am in love!!! I have already tested it at a jazz concert at ISO 1600, and it was MUCH MORE than I ever dared to hope for! SO to sum it up, I am MOST happy!!! 🙂
