This link to a website says it may be impossible to delete your personal information and account if you are a member of Picasa, WordPress or GoDaddy.
I bought some domain names from GoDaddy so all they have are my name and address. Almost signed up for Word Press for photo hosting but changed my mind. Guess you have to be careful with the amount of personal information you give to a website, they may keep it forever.
