Has anyone here ever read about a certain camera that you own but haven't shot with it in awhile? Then experience a bout of GAS to want to load it up & head out the door with your new-found-love? Reading some post on another site about the Canon AE-1program has found me loading it up with some Arista Premium 400 & heading out the door. Feels nice not having to spend any money for new gear.

What camera on the shelf has giving you GAS to grab it & go for a walk?:)

I can't tell you how many times I've done this. I've ended up with eight MP bodies because I never remember that I already have one.

Happens to me all the time as well but I don't even have your excuse. I remember I have em, but I still go out and buy another. :D

That explains why I have two Rolleiflex 3.5F, a couple of Certo Dollinas, and the Leica IIF/IIIF variants.

Even worse is when you start doing it to your own lenses.

For me it is definitely my Leica M4. Not sure why I still own it, perfect as it is, it does not speak to me. But....with the upcoming Garry Winogrand show opening soon at SF MOMA, I'll be spinning and shooting using the M4 with a "Winogrand" Canon 28 f2.8 affixed to it.

Second entry: my Canon L1. Think I better load it......

FM2n. It has been neglected whilst I used my Leica M6. Having re-awoken it I have had Nikon gas.

Nice! Load it & post some photos here when you complete your roll. I decided to load a roll of HP-5 in the Canon & went for a walk. When I finish I'll post here too.

Anyone else having GAS over a camera you have on the shelf, load it & feel free to join in.:)

I've got a Pentax SPII that came with a Takumar 35/2.8 I've yet to load a film in.
The SPII was one of the cameras that I was thinking of. Ironically, one that I just loaded this afternoon is a Canon AE-1, because I got a shiny new-old 28mm lens for it.
