I finally developed a roll of film, shot with a Nikon SP during last winter. In the two examples below, you see there is a hazy, darken area along both left and right borders. This phenomenon happens with every frame. I never really noticed it before, but I checked my other pics and realized that it is always there with pics that I'd shot with the SP. It's just more apparent with this roll because of the white background.

Perhaps the film pressure plate is not keeping the film perfectly flat, and the film is lifted up at the edges. Make sure the pressure plate is not stuck in the bottomed-out position.

What scanner are you using?
Coolscan V ED.
I dont think it's the scanner, cuz this doesn't happen with pictures shot with my other cameras.
