I find it interesting how HCB is / was seen by other photographers. There is an infamous pool on Flickr called "delete me" the concept is you put a shot into the pool and ten 'qualified' photographers review the photograph and comment then say yes or no to being deleted from the pool.... you guessed it. A set up. Someone put on of HCB's more famous shots into the pool. It was deleted.. the fun started aftewards!

Nice link Jan, The silliness of it all is exausting. When it comes to photography as art it just boils down to what one likes or dislikes, Its a considerably personal matter. Me? I like old school style black and white documentary photojournalism and large format black and white studio portraits.
