I have not used this technique yet with my M8 and I am wondering who has and how they liked the effect. I can see a need for some of the extreme lighting situations for non moving subjects. I work in Black and White and would love to see some B&W HDR work from the M8.

Exposure blending is not as perverse as tone mapping. However many (the easiest) HDR procedures produce soft images. This can be a good thing if one desires that sort of look.
