Henry Smith was 78 when I shot this photo about 7 years ago. He was out on his regular morning route collecting aluminum beer cans in South Apopka. I saw him still picking up cans about 10 days ago and he does not look much different other than getting his hair cut.

Katiuska is a good friend, neighbor to where I stay in Havana, and one of Havana's most selective prostitutes. This was a grab shot across the table while we were having lunch one day.

Definitely natural light ... I found a spot in the workshop that seemed appropriate light wise and dragged my subject over to it. 😛

I should have used a tripod though ... the lack of sharpness in the areas I actually 'wanted' sharp has always bothered me with this image. Not to mention the Sigma 50mm f1.4 is a bit soft wide open.
