I have nothing to do with this item.
I have no cash so I figured it might better go to a RFFer.

It's $153 as I write this.

Also comes with the leather case. Looks like the earliest version with the two studs for external shade.

I'm thinking that everything fun is on line.
Ended at $180.36 USD!
I wish I had some cash, she looks beautiful.

Yeah, I might have gone for it, but I've got a trip to make this month. Hard to tell if I could have gotten it, because the winning bidder likely put a nice chunk of change on it, like they've done before.

According to some reports I've read, SGW may be having shill bidders artificially inflating the prices. They are both the auctioneer and owner of said gear, so it's ripe for such activities - more-so than eBay, anyway. Take a look at the Rolleiflex on the site - it's at $600 and you can't even tell what lens is on it (or the SN). Seems sketch to me.
I think $180 for that lens in complete unknown condition is too much. They stated "no oil on aperture" and yet the photos clearly show oil. Who knows what else is wrong. I think I've seen more 10.5cm lenses broken/damaged than any other Nikon RF lens so I'm cautious of them. Stuff like missing elements, frozen helicals, etc. It's a big heavy lens, maybe that's why.
I bought mine in mint condition on eBay with all accessories for $250 IIRC.

Over the last couple of years, the bidding has gotten sort of out-of-hand on SG. I've been watching the winning bids on a lot of items, and there is a cadre of buyers that want the items badly. Most of your high-end German and Japanese gear gets jumped on very quickly, so they know what they are looking for. Gone are the days of getting a really good bargain, and there are lots of other folks that just can't stand to let something get by them. Since you can see who is bidding (they don't use fake ID's like eBay, but the first and last characters of the bidders ID), it's not hard to keep track of what's going on. I don't think it's shill bidders, because then there would be too much stuff showing up for auction again that you just saw.
