Heads-up: Beautiful Hexanon collapsible 50mm FS

Oh my, that IS pretty. I wonder how it performs against the more pedestrian 50/2 Hexanon?

I seem to recall reading that it is not up to the performance level of the Hexanon-M 50 (especially at f2 ;)). It is one of a small number of limited production lenses made by Konica in LTM, hence the rather high price.

Dang! $800! For now I'll stick with my Industar-50/3.5. Cost hardly anything; perhaps a quick lunch or two at work. :)

The 50/2 Hexanon is better. I got to try it when a friend had a 50/2.4, and while it was cute, it was otherwise not that appealing.
