Viewfinder wise, I'm happy I bought the Voigtlander 15-35 Zoom Finder (x1.3-x1.5), a while back. It saves money and a lot of hassle.

@michaelbialecki,
mooge's original link is showing me the black now on backorder until 20 June and three silver versions still in stock... might be worth having a second look? (or perhaps my browser is acting odd)
On a side note, must say I've really enjoyed your shots with the zm35/1.4! Always a pleasure to see.

The M mount is $419. The LTM is still 299

What a bummer, it is now 419 USD. I have actually been thinking about getting a 21mm lens, but to be honest, I was thinking of the 21mm / 1.8 VC...but for 300 USD I would of pulled the trigger.....oh well, next time
cheers

KoFe.... sure can. I do it all the time...ships right to my door in Alberta.
Maybe in Alberta or for Alberta they have no such restrictions, in Ontario I can't order to Canada from Amazon.com only from Amazon.ca.
They have huge warehouses nearby and hiring. Price diffrence is huge, due to greed and tariffs Canada impose on imports. They just talk about this hipocracy on local radio today.

I checked back just now and it showed 3 silver left, in LTM, and I hate to say, I bought one.
Thanks a lot you stinkin' enablers, also to my wife who said "go ahead" in a happy voice.

WJJ3, my thoughts and results were much the same as you shared. BTW, way cool kit, just a bit bigger than a collapsible 50.

Just seeing this, but I bought a black LTM 21mm/f4 lens from the same seller on Amazon last week. Fun little lens as a tiny little super-wide for my Sony A7RII and LTM film bodies, and as a medium-wide on my M8.

Thanks for the heads-up, I just bought a black one, however, it won't be in stock until 6/21. But I'm happy to wait for a deal that good.

I'm with you on that, Peter. Keeping track of which camera it's with though is a bit of a bother.

Wanna split one? I sold my 21 LTM when I bought my Konica 21-35 but I regret it now cuz I cant use it on my LTM bodies. I have the finder from the Konica so I wouldnt need the CV one.

I thought about buying one in the Nikon Rangefinder Mount. Then, I can use it on my Nikon bodies, and with my Amedeo adapter, I can use it on my Leica screw Mount and my Leica m-mount! Again a fantastic deal! Even at more $$.

That is a good deal. I've had this lens for a while now and have been quite pleased with it; it's a great fit on a Barnack body.
Funny how several have complained about the price of 21mm finders in this thread. I had one up in the classifieds a couple months ago for cheap and nobody even asked about it. Maybe I need to work on my ad copy.

I will use the 21mm lens on my Leica II , but also on the M2 using the 35 adapter. Has anyone used this lens on their M2 without the external finder, using the limits of the viewfinder outside the 35mm lines, as their guide?

I had an Elmarit 21/2.8 and used it on my M6 & M4-P years back. My finders were 28mm wide and I thought there was such a difference between the 21 finder and what I had through the internal finder.
It's rather a reverse curve that the wider you go (smaller in focal length) the impact of a millimeter or two to the coverage gets larger as a percentage of the frame. (Not sure I said that right, or understandable, sorry). Let me try it a different way. If you finder is for an 80mm lens you are pretty close to what you will get with a 75mm lens. But, when you have a finder for a 28 you will get a LOT more on the film if you are shooting with a 21mm lens.
Or at least that's how it feels to me. Perhaps I need to finish my Mountain Dew Throwback this morning.....

For some reason, I can’t find the silver LTM lens from the link(s) provided above. Are they all sold out or am I missing something ?
