I just purchased some Efke KB100, 35mm, 36 exp. for $1.99/roll. It is supposed to be dated for expiration in May 2005 (this month).

It's on sale at JandC. Regular price is $3.39 per roll.

Yes, it's Foma's Fomapan R100. I've used it & had it developed @ dr5 in Los Angeles (slow because it's via mail, but the processing was good).

I never left. 😀

I get 18+ rolls out of a 100 ft. bulk spool. Buying Tri-X at Adorama for $32.95 a spool works out to between $1.75 and $1.85 a pop, depending on how meticulous you are in your reloading habits. And I don't mind reloading, sorta relaxing as a matter of fact.

I like to buy a bunch of film in reloadable cassettes, after I use it, I reload the cassettes with the same film from a 100 foot roll. (If I liked it).

I received the JandC order in about 3 days by Priority Mail.

BTW efke cassetes are reloadable, they pop-open with a little pressure on the spindle

I bought a bunch of kalt casettes when carolina camera closed and I'll have a supplky for the next few years.
APX100 @$25/100 ft roll is unbeatable

JFYI Ritz camera had some outdated Delta400 for $1.50/36 exp

At least here in Raleigh NC they have a "bargain" bin and they had the film there

That's how I got started collecting cameras. I kept going into camera stores looking for out-dated 35mm B&W film at half-price. There was a lot of film in sizes like 616, 620, 127, 126, 110 and Minolta 16 just going to waste. I thought it might be noice to have a few cameras that could use different film film sizes so I could take advantage of all the cheap film. That was 1976.

B&H lists Apx100 for $23.95... with shipping comes up to $30 or so

JanC are my suppliers for EFKE and their JC Pro 100 film in 120 (chinese made)
