Just thought I'd let everyone know that there's an article on photographer Don McCullin in The Sunday Times Magazine (U.K.).

It's a good piece with quite a few images.

Despite being over seventy, McCullin still seems to love doing street photography and makes a telling comment about his impressions about the current state of it.

"Photographic schools are knocking out students with degrees like sausages, and yet you never see photographers out on the street shooting anymore. What are they all doing?"

Well, I was out shooting in London the other month and I didn't see him either. 😉
(I don'thave a degree in Photography BTW)

Hmmm - it seems to be trend now , everything is ''theory '' so that when students hit the streets they understand nothing - in any field ... the old mentor / apprentice sytem having been replaced by computers which contain much information , and no experience . [ Speaking as an Interior Designer , now working with struggling new kids with little foundation ]
