Ah looky looky
or how about this.. Can anyone name a common kitchen chemical that is hands down worse than photographic chemistry. If you have documentation that woiuld be great.
Trying to convince my better half that the stuff she uses is waaay more toxic.

thank you very much again... I'll start my processing this weekend. For the first time I think I will wear gloves just to be safe.
I just need to get a scanner at some point and I will be able to post some pics!
Noel : I sent you a PM.

Clarel, like others, I use the kitchen sink to dispose of the chemicals. I just try not to slosh things around too much. I wear rubber gloves, just in case.

Do you use drain pipe cleaner? If the contents are sodium hydroxide and aluminium never pour water in the bottle and close it because the reaction is heavy, it will explode and spray sodium hydroxide solution all over the place. Dangerous enough?
Do you use chlorine bleach liquor (sodium hypochlorite), never mind the brand, to clean your toilet? If you use that and pour accidentally some other cleaner (I don't tell you the contents of that for obvious reasons) into the toilet you will produce chlorine gas and that was used in chemical warfare.....

Bleaches, drain unblockers, and limescale killers (the heavy duty ones) are all way nastier than most photochems. All corrosive and highly caustic in general.
