Hello, Im RUSCAMERA Ebay Seller

Welcome to RFF Rus ~
Most of us who shoot FSU Cameras are familiar with your store ... and some of us are poorer because of it! 😉 We certainly welcome anyone who comes on board to share our enjoyment of these fun instruments! Hang around and jump in on any thread.

Welcome! Haven't bought from you myself, but have heard good things about you!

Hi Rus! Welcome! I love my FED 3b I got from you a year ago.

Hi!

I have bought a FED and a Contax/Kiev universal viewfinder from you, recently! Last weekend, I used the latter in combination with my 135mm, to find out what bokeh it produces...

Hi!

I bought a Zorki-4 with Jupiter-8 lens from you on 25th of July. It arrived only a week and a half later to me...very quick and easy exchange indeed.
The camera is beautiful and the first film came out good...everything seems to be working perfectly!

Thanks you!

Thank you too

Wow... given the accolade Igor is getting (and all of it from most reputable sources), I think I may join sometime soon. How about a Jupiter 3? Isn't that the really fast 50mm FSU lens?

Welcome, Igor! 🙂

Does anybody have any background on a Jupiter 1.5/50? I have one under consideration (awaiting price determination). I thought it would be interesting to see how it compares in the Kiev (currently with a Jupiter 2/50) with the 1.5/50 Opton Sonnar in the IIIA.

I have a very nice Jupiter-3, almost no scratches at the front lens and very clean glasses. Serial Number 52xxxx - it fits very well on my 51xxxx Kiev-2.
My J-3 performs very well. At f/1,5 it's of course a little bit soft, but at f/5,6 it is equal or even better than my J-8 lenses. I will not miss this lens, it's my favourite Kiev lens.
I heard als bad things about some examples of the J-3. There seems to bee a lot of lenses with scratches at the front lens, this might reduce the contrast. And perhaps the later produced lenses did not get the same quality controls as the earlier ones.

Gruss,
Andreas R.

What is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.... I think you guys are right to welcome this guy, but others, Like Sean, got drummed off this forum for being too commercial, i.e. referring to their own commercial website. I would like to see both Ruscamera and Sean on this forum....
