another canon man, i like that. we may be starting to gain on 'them'
a canon p is a great choice.
i see that you already have a start on some canon gear.
i love that 85/2 lens, so sharp, doesn't get the credit it deserves.
i also like 35mm lenses and note that you have a 3.2.
what do you think of it.
as to who to buy from, maybe put a want to buy ad here and at photo.net also.
i have bought 2 from chuck, a member here, and one from japan. all 3 were in very nice to great shape when i got them.

He was kind enough to bear my difficulties with the registration process! For some reason my spam software kept deleting the automated confirmation reply from the forum. I guess he finally got tired of my difficulties. I'm a college professor, and my students submit their work via email. My problem is the software firewall the university insists faculty use which is incredibly aggressive spam software that is not all that user-friendly! It deletes first, and is remarkably resistant to resetting!

the profile image only shows when someone looks at your profile.
at the top of this page go to 'user cp (control panel)
on the left there will be a range of options, go to change avatar.

Are you referring to the Nikon Fans???
Welcome aboard. There are deals to be found on the "P", despite its recent price increases due to the publicity that a certain moderator has given it. Him and probably Karen Nakamura.
The other late model Canons have not jumped in price, the Canon 7 and VI series. I went looking for a Canon P and ended up with a VI-t, and had it CLA'd, for about the price of the "P".
One went up for sale here at RFF for a very good price recently. The "want to buy" idea is a good one.

Yeah, right now I am glad this isn't the Minolta SRT Forum so I can still afford some of that stuff.
