Help! 75mm Mamiya Press lens question

I recently aquired a 75mm lens alleged to be for the Super/Universal Press.

It arrived today and ... while it sort of fits my Super, it doesn't couple with the rangefinder. It doesn't "click" into my Press at all.

I assume it's actually meant for the Polaroid 600SE. Can someone tell from this photo? I've tried looking at the web, but I suspect many of the pictures there are mislabled, alas. I'm guessing my seller didn't do a dirty deed, just didn't know the difference.

It looks like mine!!!!! but it´s missing the round cam that has a brass color on the part that connects to the cam of the rangefinder on the camera (the back). It also misses the cover that goes into those 3 screw holes!!!

I think it will be impossible to couple to the rangefinder that way! maybe it would be possible to machine one that fits but at the price of 75mm´s these days!

Thanks! It appears to mount OK on my Super 23 body but as you said, it doesn't couple to the rangefinder.

I'm going to contact the seller shortly. Could you possibly post a picture of yours, to show the difference?

You can still use the lens with a ground glass back!

The main issue i had was to put all the lenses adjusted to one camera and to each other, it costed me a bit with my mechanic!!!

the 75mm outdid my 75mm sw nikkor in 6x9 a large format camera!
