Need help! My friend's limited edition Rollei 35 when took out from the box, realised that the crank stuck after release the shutter! How do I repair it or any reputable mechanics to recommend?
Check if the lens is fully pulled out and locked. Only then will this camera operate correctly. Be careful when pulling out the lens when the shutter is released, have a look at the rear of the camera with the back removed. Parts of the shutter mechanism can obstruct pulling out the lens and have to be pushed away manually.

There are so many possibilities that it's impossible to say what is wrong without physically inspecting the camera and possibly removing the top of the camera to inspect the gears.
Some Rollei 35s used a plastic gear in the film advance mechanism. It could be this, or it could be a spring that is out of place. Or it might be something else.
Since it is one of the special edition Rollei 35 cameras, my suggestion would be to sent it to Harry Fleenor @ Oceanside Camera Repair. I believe that he has about a seven queue right now.
Would this be one of those Rollei 35 Classics from the 1990'ies that had the hot shoe mounted to top of the camera? They're pricey and are worth servicing.
No, I think not.

Hello, I do not understand what do you mean 'No, I think not'. Sorry I am away for 2 weeks and not accessible to internet.
I am explaining that it is not caused by incomplete cranking or not retracting the lens. The problem is the crank lever is not catching the or, what so ever that caused it not crankable.
To solve it I need to know how I can remove the top plate therefore I can take a closer look. Any advice is welcome!
