It's really hard to get a first-rate Summar, but they really are a wonderful mix of tiny and fast. If the glass is sound, the haze cleaned, and the edge-blacking in place, it's very respectable, not flare-prone. Yeah, it's pretty soft, even crazy, in the corners wide open. But if you save wider than f/4 for emergencies, it's a fine lens.
