No, nullify it. I was using the J3 on the A7S yesterday and observed that I had to focus at 3.5 metres on the lens when an object that was 4 meters away at f5.6 to bring the focus shift away from me, back to me.

What a most interesting thread.....the info gained....using SLR to check focus...and the lens chart for 50 and 85mm focus compatibility and the info regarding S vs SC designation of Cosina lenses. Where else could you get this knowledge in one place. I am going to put one of my NIKON S mount 35mm 2.5 ( the chrome one) in the bag with my Contax IIA. It's the only focal length which I never got the native Zeiss lens that was available for this camera. I never got around to spending the money on a Zeiss Opton 35mm Sonnar. The NIKON lens and the Sonnar have to be close, image wise.
