Help I found a wayward part!

Yelp, I decided to clean the mirrors etc in the viewfinder of my Lynx14 and as i dissembled it, this part fell out! I have looked for an obvious place for it to live but in vain.

It appears to have a rub mark on one side, as if it makes contact with a spring etc. but I've no idea.

Stop looking! I found it…..goes on the winding handle.

I always thought that you should have a spare "something" left over after any engine rebuild. Something to do with appeasing the gods of engines and all things mechanical
