Help,I fried my camera!

I mixed match flashes and cameras without problems untill a few days ago I put the Konica Hexar's HX-14 flash on my Ricoh XR-6(the little HX-14 works on Canonet GIII,Fujica AXs,Canon A-1,Eos,FEs..) press the shutter,the mirror flips up and stays up then the camera shuts down.
I took the camera batteries out,reinstalled it,use selftimer to trip the shutter without success.Did the circuits in XR-6 fried by Konica flash? Is there a way to bring back the camera?

Taipei-metro... I'd rather take my camera to a respectable shop. Also, see if the flash didn't get fried in the process.

I know (at least from looking and reading) about the H-14. It's an automatic flash, right? Or can it work with TTL circuitry? It's a dedicated unit for the Konica Hexar RF, but I'm not sure if that camera has TTL-flash exposure or not...

Thanks Francisco,everytime I used a flash,I manually set the f-stop according to flash indicates.In HX-14 case,I put it on any camera other then Hexar AF,ISO 200 is f5.6 and speed at X1/60 or 1/125.I put HX-14,a Sunpak 25SR or Nikon SBs on Canon EOS,set speed on 1/90,if bounced(when the celling is white),I add one f-stop,it worked everytime.I have 3 K-mount lenses,a Pentax Super A chrome body,but this XR-6 is really good-looking.I didn't know this time that the manual book warns not to used other then Ricoh flash is true.
The HX-14 is still working though.

Sticking mirrors is not necessarily a sign of fried circuitry, but it could be due to voltage differences. Have it checked by a qualified repair person who will give you an estimate. If you like the camera enough it will probably be worth a fix and a CLA at the same time.

I have a Yashica TL Super that is no longer reliable because the mirror often sticks in the up position. Some day I may get brave and tinker with it as I don't think it is economical to repair, but not a project I want to take on yet. Sorry to hear about your problem.
