a shed would be great if you had the ability and budget to heat it, get running water in there, insulate it, etc. But otherwise probably more of a pain than other options in my opinion.

Note the previous comments about noise, shuffling about in the loft-darkroom - I'm not living in the loft Keith, you forget I have a girlfriend!

I'll try and help rather than the normal clever talking donkey...

I have to develop my AgBrs in a rotating colour tank, i.e. after you enlarge fixed time in full daylight. Dont ask why...

I have put up my enlarger on the WC pedestal and if bigger then about 12x14 put the easel on the carpeted loo floor.

P.S. My enlarger is a FSU suitcase job really cheap and nasty...

Noel, you wouldn't believe how rare those suitcase enlargers are to come by now. I'm finding it difficult to even find references to them, let alone one that doesnt cost £50 in shipping from the FSU!

I accept I've only seen my posts... I did wonder why. I got mine new in UK about '75 wandered into shop on Lee Bridge Road in London, so there must be others...
Trip to E Europe with plastic bag, come back with suitcase.
