try the rollie retro S films, the 80s and the 400s/superpan 200. both very inexpensive from Germany and have become my 35mm main films. I would shoot them in 120 again but had molting issues and will give them a year to acknowledge the issue and work them out.
I also can recommend foma 200 film

I have tried and quite like Ilford Pan 400.
Lately I'm eager to try Fomapan 200.

I say stick with the films you like. No point in sacrificing quality for cost. You'll only regret going cheap.

I buy Ilford HP5+ in 100 foot rolls. Pretty cheap that way.

Hi,
FWIW, I regret throwing money away on over hyped stuff, or worse on over priced stuff. The answer is to try them all with a bit of help from us on RFF and see what price and so on suits you.
