Help me out with a potential purchase

I don't normally buy from anyone with less than 100% positive feedback, especially if I'm looking at international shipping. I will occasionally if the comments in the feedback seem to indicate a simple misunderstanding. This one I wouldn't. I might miss a good deal, but I wouldn't.

That's just my opinion, though.

It is just used R. With very adequate for condition price and next to free shipping.
Sticky rubber and no frames numbers might have same origin, too strong, aggressive cleaner before sale.
Get half-case and frames are visible in VF anyway.

I bought a Bessa-R from this seller last year and paid $189.00 plus shipping ($20).

Recommended seller; the camera was very good. Don't know if he has any more just now.

On my R, there has been some sweating of the plastic coating on the back; no stickiness though. These cameras are now more than ten years old and they do have problems with the cheap coating on the back. I used vinyl cleaner (like you use on the inside of a car) and it has helped. If it is really bad the plastic can be removed with solvent or just cover it with a half case. You will find threads on this; I started one recently.

Great camera with a CV 35/2.5 Color Skopar - a light, durable kit; bring it anywhere with no worries.

So I ended up buying it and it arrived today. An extra 10% off for an eBay Valentine's day special helped. All seems good so far. Eyeballing distance, range looks fine. Meter seems about right based on sunny 16/other EV. Shutter speeds sound different. So overall it roughly checks out. Rangefinder patch seems low contrast but a bit of reading indicates that that's just how it is and you do have to have your eye in the right spot. Loaded a roll of film in it to see how it goes. Very different to my Fed5!

Thanks for the help guys.
