fenixv8,
Congratulations on your f/1.0 Noctilux! I have this lens and will never let it go. When the 0.95 ASPH Noctilux was released, I took a hard look at the images that the 0.95 shooters were posting online. They looked too clinical, too overly corrected to my eye.
I made a commitment to my f/1.0 Noctilux and kept it. I very much prefer the rendering of my f/1.0 Noctilux to the new and improved 0.95 version.
Leica M lenses are legendary for their sharpness and image quality; the f/1.0 Noctilux marches to a different drummer. For this and other reasons, the capabilities of the 50/1.0 Noctilux are misunderstood by many M shooters.
If you commit to this lens and really work to understand its capabilities, you will be richly rewarded for your efforts. There is no other lens that renders the way the f/1.0 Noctilux renders.
