Help me understand picture takers.

What I want to know is: did anyone at this gathering recite one of Burns' bawdier bits? (I can think of one now, but the title itself might be just a bit purple for RFf) :D

I think the screen chimping has to do with the fact that with P&S digitals, that's the only way you can see what you're shooting. With a proper camera you don't need to check, you already know.

Mind you, a proper camera can be one of many formats, analog or digital.

Scottish is also correct! In terms of using 'Scotch' , the only thing that should use that name is whisky (note:, no 'e').

I lived in Scotland (Corby, Northamptonshire) for about 6 years, a while back, and the locals often referred to themselves as "Scotch", which I thought was a definate "no-no".

Corby? I haven't been to that part of Scotland...
