Hi,

I got recently got a Jupiter 12 lenses (it was an impulsive move) on a Kiev Rf mount. Now I'm having a problem finding an adapter for my ltm or m mount. Can anyone help me source this?
I've read some articles in some other forums and seems that I may have to spend more than what I paid for the lens.🙁

Thanks

Adapters from Contax to LTM or M mount exist, but they cost around $150 to $200. It's really economical only with German Zeiss lenses, but not really worth it with Russian lenses (except maybe the Orion-15).

There are less complex adapters that don't have a focusing helical and hence no rangefinder coupling; those would work with your Jupiter-12, but would still cost more than the lens is worth.

Buy another Jupiter-12 in LTM, it will be the better option.

Hi,
I got the same lens for my kiev 4am.I'm afraid theres no adapter for ltm or m mount bro.I want the same lens for my bessa r3a and other fed and zorki of mine.

As said the most cost-effective (by far) approach is to buy one already LTM mounted (for Fed, Zorki).

The precise dimensions vary from one example to the next depending on the optical glass used. They all appear to be compatible with film Leicas - unsure about digital due to the angle onto the sensor. But for Bessas (and clones) only some examples fit, depending on the extent of the rear protrusion. To be precise, all J-12's will fit but only some will focus to infinity due to the rear element striking an internal shelf. You may need to either view and fit before buying, or be prepared to buy a few examples to get a Bessa-compatible one. Don't believe the naysayers - mine fits and works perfectly (except for metering, of course).

Or buy a Contax or Kiev to fit the Jupiter-12 onto!
