Help! : R-D1 body is making a clicking noise

When when I tilt the camera 180 degrees forwards and backwards it makes this click. It sounds like there's something inside the camera that's loose. But it only makes the clicking sound when tilting the camera forwards and backwards. Rolling it left and right doesn't trigger the clicking sound. It sounds like a tiny pebble gently tapping on glass. It only clicks once. It doesn't sound like a loose screw inside the body.

I'm new to this camera and still very unfamiliar with it. Do your cameras make the same noise as described?
